What Is the Procedure for Getting Facial Fillers?
Following an evaluation, Dr. Taylor marks the injection sites and then numbs the areas with cream or another local anesthetic. Following the injections, the skin is massaged to ensure that the areas receive the fillers. If the results are not at the level he wants, Dr. Taylor may repeat the process. Once complete, the markings are cleaned off to reveal smooth, fuller skin. Depending on the number of areas to be treated, the entire process may take as little as 15 minutes to complete.
Preparing for Facial Fillers
Preparing for facial fillers is easy and takes place immediately before receiving the treatments and involves cleaning with an antiseptic cleanser. Pictures may be taken prior to the procedure to use as a comparison.
Recovery from Facial Fillers
There is no recovery from facial fillers since most people return to their daily activities immediately following the treatment. Immediately following the procedure, there may be some slight swelling and redness at the injection site but that resolves itself within a few hours or by the next day.
