Mission Statement, Vision Statement, Values
The mission of Two Rivers Surgery Center is to provide uncompromisingly outstanding outpatient surgical care on the New Jersey shore, where patients and employees alike are treated with the dignity, gentleness, respect, and uniqueness that every human being deserves. Our highly vetted board–certified surgeons and anesthesiologists, and our exceptionally qualified peri–operative staff accomplish this by creating a patient–centric environment where privacy is respected, quality of care is excellent, safety is paramount, and compassion is second nature.
VISION STATEMENT
The vision of Two Rivers Surgery Center is to grow and create a safe and caring environment to improve the quality of our patient‘s health and self–image. To accomplish this we support our staff to provide competent and professional care, to continue their education through staff development.
VALUES
To treat our patients as we wish to be treated and to do the right thing for the right reason for our patients and our staff. To meet and exceed our patient‘s expectations, to continue to improve the quality of care and service our patients receive.
In short, we do not and will not tolerate any form of unlawful or unethical behavior by anyone associated with TRSC. We expect and require all personnel to be law–abiding, honest, trustworthy, and fair in all of their business dealings. To ensure that these expectations are met, the Compliance Program has become an integral part of our corporate mission and business operations.
The attached Compliance Program‘s Code of Conduct provides guidance to ensure that all of our work is performed in an ethical and legal manner. Please review it thoroughly. Your adherence to its spirit, as well as its specific provisions, is absolutely critical to our future. In your daily work, if you encounter a situation or proposed course of conduct, and you are unsure whether it is allowed by the Code of Conduct, raise the issue with your supervisor, with a member of the Compliance Staff at the numbers listed in the last section of the Code of Conduct. It is a basic principle of our Compliance program that there will be no retribution for asking questions, raising concerns about the Code, or reporting any possible improper conduct.
