How Are Volbella® Treatments Performed?
Volbella is administered directly in our office using an ultra-fine needle. The treatment process typically lasts around an hour depending on the amount of treatment required. In the days following treatment, the hyaluronic acid in the fillers will attract and retain moisture, causing your lips and skin to plump and soften, reducing wrinkles and increasing the volume of your lips.
Preparing For Juvederm®Volbella®
Prior to coming in for your Volbella® injection, Dr. Taylor asks you to refrain from taking ibuprofen, aspirin, or blood thinners for a week to reduce your chance of bruising around the injection site. About an hour before the appointment, patients may be offered a topical anesthetic to help reduce any discomfort.
Recovery from Juvederm®Volbella®
You will experience some tenderness, redness, or swelling in the injection site following treatment. This typically subsides in a few hours. Results will become noticeable within a few days and will develop over the following weeks. Dr. Taylor requests patients return for a follow-up appointment so the results can be observed. If necessary, the modification can be made to help achieve the desired results.
How Much Does Juvederm®Volbella® Cost?
The cost for Juvederm® will depend on each patient’s unique needs and desires. During your consultation, Dr. Taylor discusses the cost as well as payment options that include cash, checks, and most major credit cards. We also offer financing through CareCredit®.
